Elmira Bayrasli, Senior Fellow and Director of the Entrepreneurship Ecosystems Project, joined television show Charlie Rose for a discussion on the future of Turkey. Bayrasli spoke about Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s steady rise in popularity over the past decade and how approaching elections in the coming months will serve as a crucial indicator of where Erdogan stands now.  Among recent corruption charges, media censorship, and plans to expand control over the judiciary, Erdogan risks Turkey’s political and economic stability in the interest of power.
