Kate Maloff is the Executive Director of the World Policy Institute. In her time at the Institute, she has more than doubled the organization’s annual budget by developing a portfolio of corporate, individual, and foundation support. She identifies partnerships and articulates value propositions for cross-sector collaborations across a range of issues like sustainability, urban resilience, and risk management; citizenship, inclusion, and diversity; and innovation and entrepreneurship as drivers of economic development.
Kate had been a research associate at the World Policy Institute’s Program on Citizenship and Security in 2005. Prior to rejoining WPI in 2007, Kate worked on development for the non-governmental organizations Sightsavers International and WaterAid America, and consulted for New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services on advocacy and development initiatives. Kate holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she concentrated in Political Science and French and specialized in Middle Eastern Affairs.
